Have you noticed how every home improvement show has devolved into of putting an island in the kitchen?

Tһеrе іѕ nothing wrοחɡ wіtһ tһе first two аחѕwеrѕ, tһеу аrе rіɡһt. Bυt, wһу ԁο wе need tο see tһе same material over аחԁ over again. Island іח tһе kitchen, granite top, stainless sink….OK, I ɡеt іt already!
I figure….tһеrе аrе οחƖу ѕο many things tһеѕе sorts οf shows саח ѕһοw аחԁ аbουt οחƖу ѕο many ways tο ԁο tһеm, bесаυѕе tһеіr audience base іѕ уουr average Joe, bу аחԁ large.

Yes, and I love them. Not only do you have more working space and storage space, but everyone always ends up in the kitchen, so I love the islands that have stools to pull up. Only problem is that older homes don’t have those huge kitchens that can accomodate an island!

Islands are over-rated. Unless you have a big kitchen, , , they just dont work. Penninsulas work better. Thats like an island attached to a wall. Its great extra counter and storage and serves well as an eat-in area for your kitchen and does not block up the whole kitchen.

I figure….there are only so many things these sorts of shows can show and about only so many ways to do them, because their audience base is your average Joe, by and large.

Hmm – no one answered the obvious – there’s an island so the audience is spared from staring at the hosts ass for half an hour.
