If you are contracting someone out to do the work, they should give you a fairly accurate estimate- in writing before the work begins.
If you are doing it your self, sit down and write out your materials list. A good idea is to factor in any problems that could potentially arise along the way. It’s always best to over budget when doing a home project, then to under budget and have to stop mid way due to lack of funding!
As far as a web site to help calculate, I am not aware of any.
