Founder

Arc-Way, Inc., Realtors was established in 1987 by broker/owner Jim Massengale. Jim had spent the greater part of 15 years in executive positions with national real estate developers and syndicators. Growing tired of corporate life and the extensive travel it required, Jim decided to stay home in Cincinnati and start his own real estate company. He brought to it the same principles of quality work, integrity and concern for people that established him as a leader in his field.

Jim and his wife Carol (herself a successful, established Realtor) decided to name their fledgling company Arc-Way, Realtors. The Arc stood for Adjustable Rate Commission and the Way stood for the Right Way, the Fair Way, the Way to open new doors of opportunity for people looking to buy and sell homes. Hence, Arc-Way. Jim and Carol were joined in 1990 by their daughter Laurie Massengale Wissel. Laurie left a background of banking and finance with a large metropolitan bank to become a top producing real estate professional.

Since its founding Arc-Way, Realtor has shown steady growth. Each year promises to surpass the last. The cornerstone of its success is its concern for the client and its commitment to customer satisfaction. Jim introduced the "Freedom Clause" listing agreement in 1991. This clause guarantees customer satisfaction in writing or the client can terminate Arc-Way's services at anytime. Since its inception no client has invoked the "Freedom Clause". Actually, most have referred Arc-Way to their family, friends and neighbors. Through this referral network Arc-Way, Realtor expects to serve the real estate needs for generations to come.
